  • DRAGON VAMPIRE – This is a one-off image I created for a client. They wanted me to draw vampire bat wings with a dragon and skull incorporated. This is the result – they loved it so much they commissioned me to draw another piece. They said they'd imagined something completely different, so I was blown away when they told me this design was 'Sic'!
  • FUTURISTIC CHAINSAW – People are inspired to get tattoos for all types of reasons. This is another one-off piece I created for a person who loved a well known rapper, who used to enter the stage carrying a chainsaw. They wanted a back piece so I created a futuristic chainsaw with retro flames entwined. I always try to make sure my tattoos are beautiful and not specific: that way if the person decides they like another rapper, for example, they are not left with a tattoo they hate.
  • GASMASK – For this image I was just practising symmetry drawing a gasmask with some sort of wings – this is one of the pieces I created for the wall of Alien Ink – really just to give people inspiration.
  • SKULL WITH VAMPIRE TEETH – This was another practice piece. As you may have noticed I love doing skulls. I find the human skeleton interesting and the skull to me represents your face. Some people find this stuff scary...I say look at it another way, to me it's creative.
  • FEROCIOUS TIGERS – You can never judge a book by its cover. The person who I created this tattoo for, was someone you would never expect to have this type of tattoo across their back. They wanted this tattoo as tigers to them represented strength. They had had many challenges in their life, which they had overcome. This tattoo served as a reminder, that no matter how tough life gets you can face the challenge and fight back – inspirational.
  • ORIENTAL DRAGON – In Camden we get sooo many people asking for dragon tattoos. This is a piece hanging on our walls and I've tattooed about 5 people who chose this design. I call it the 'Oriental dragon with a twist'. Usually this tattoo is placed on a client's arm.
  • SKULL AND GASMASK FUSION – Here I go again, practising with my gasmask, skull and wings infusion. This time I added the Samurai swords. I love Samurai.
  • PROTECTION – I call this piece 'Protection'. I just let my imagination flow on this one as I was drawing, and I had no idea how it would turn out. When I finished, I could see the claws were protecting the skull like a helmet. I think it's a classic piece and my interpretation of how precious we all are.

Why: 
If you want good, truthful advice ask Ryder – he's really calm and collected. He's amazing at what he does, and creates jaw-dropping designs. Ryder loves working in Camden – he says it's all 'about the vibe'.

Things we love: 
A lot of people enter our shop, and half of them don't even want tattoos or a piercing – they just like to talk to him, hang out, have a coffee or look around. Ryder says it's about the vibe you give off – Alien Ink definitely has a positive energy people are attracted to, Ryder is a big part of that.

Life: 
The name 'Soulfuleye' stuck with him when people started noticing how deep and calm his eyes are. People would come into the shop – Punks, Rastas, Goths, Thugs, Old Hippies, you name it...everyone comments about his soulful eyes – everyone likes him, sometimes it's as if he's some sort of Superstar – 'Ryder the cool, supertalented tattoo artist' .

About Me
Things I hate:
  Hate is a strong word, but I can name some things I dislike. I dislike the fact that teenagers like me are categorised like we're criminals or that wherever we go we're treated like a suspect, maybe because I'm 6'2, with nice clothes and good attitude. I dislike what I see happening with this world, the greed, the pollution, destruction to the environment, it makes me feel helpless at times.

I dislike that we seem to be conditioned by advertising and the media telling us what's cool, what's not, what's normal and what's not. I think we are cutting ourselves away from our basic nature to make decisions for ourselves.
Things I love:
  I love life (), it's got it's downers, but if you think about its complexities its pretty amazing. I love people who can change, we can all change, but when you see someone who left a life of drugs or crime and chose a positive route, to me it's a massive challenge – not everyone is up to it, as it takes guts, stamina, discipline and courage – none of which were required in their former life. Respect...!
My Vision:
  To change the world, taking a small step each day, living my best life and being an example that you don't always have to be what other people expect or want you to be – just be true to yourself. I hope we all can change for the better and help each other when we fall.
